Vulcan Fire & Safety Systems Ltd. is looking for a highly developed, skilled CFAA Registered Fire Alarm Technician to join our SSM team.

JOB DUTIES

• Conduct annual inspection & verification of fire alarm systems

• Fulfill service calls, troubleshooting, deficiency repairs

• Install and program new and existing fire alarm systems

• Inspect and service fire extinguishers, fire hoses, emergency lighting

• Complete electronic and paper inspection reports in a timely manner

• Perform after hours and weekend service calls (rotation basis)

• Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, service manuals

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• CFAA registered Fire Alarm Technician (1 year required)

• Fire alarm field experience

• Valid Class G Ontario driver's license with clean abstract

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent command of English language (written and spoken)

• Work well independently and in a team environment

• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Knowledge of Edwards fire alarm systems is an asset
